TO BE GOOD OR NOT TO BE GOOD (AT SOMETHING)
It is imperative for a child (and for an adult) to be able to focus to get good at something. In an age where our brains are constantly multitasking studies show that in general our ability to focus is degenerating. As a result the chances of you as a parent reading this whole page is pretty slim. Sorry for being a wisecrack.
THIS GAME TRAINS YOUR CHILD´S ABILITY TO FOCUS AND REMEMBER
Animal Spotting is a game for Pre-Schoolers training their ability to focus and enhancing their short-term memory. The game also teaches about animal names and their habitats.
SO, WHY TRAIN SHORT-TERM MEMORY AND THE ABILITY TO FOCUS?
Because our ability to hold, process and use information in real time greatly affects how well we learn. Research shows that short-term memory skills are a better predicator of later academic achievement than IQ scores. Moreover, unlike IQ, working memory does not correlate with the parents’ socioeconomic status or educational level.
